In the first of two top 16 seed reveals during the 2018-19 season by the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Committee, it was announced that if the season ended today, Louisville would be one of the Big Dance’s four No. 1 seeds.
Joining the Cards on the top line? Baylor, Oregon, and the team that knocked U of L out of the Final Four a season ago, Mississippi State.
Here’s a look at the full top 16:
- Baylor (No. 1 seed – Greensboro Region)
- Louisville (No. 1 seed – Chicago Region)
- Oregon (No. 1 seed – Portland Region)
- Mississippi State (No. 1 seed – Albany Region)
- Notre Dame
- North Carolina State

- South Carolina

- Miami (FL)

The second early top 16 revea will take place Monday, March 4 at halftime of the UConn vs. South Florida game on ESPN2. That game tips off at 7 p.m.
