Based on your nominations, here are our four finalists for the 2019 Card Chronicle Person of the Year.

Scott Satterfield

Satterfield pulled Louisville up a after a disastrous 2018 season, went 7-5 in his first year on the job despite a Vegas over/under win total of 3.5, earned the Cards a trip to the Music City Bowl, and was named 2019 ACC Coach of the Year for his efforts.

Lamar Jackson

Is about to become the NFL’s Most Valuable Player and might be on his way to establishing himself as the greatest football player alive. Has continued to be himself and represent Louisville every step of the way on the path to becoming a worldwide phenomenon.

Vince Tyra

The 2018 winner had another sensational year. His football coaching hire proved his worth in his first year on the job. His ability to extend Dan McDonnell and Jeff Walz paid off with two more deep postseason runs. And Louisville’s fall sports enjoyed their most collectively successful opening semester of all-time.

The Dunking Cardinal Bird

The fav favorite logo had a dream 2019 where it saw itself plastered on seemingly every piece of U of L hoops clothing or promotional art. The apex, of course, came when the DCB became the new midcourt image inside the KFC Yum Center.

We’ve got 24 hours to crown CC’s 2019 Person of the Year. Vote below.
