Louisville stays at No. 3 in new AP poll

For the sixth time in eight weeks, college basketball has a new No. 1 team.

After Kansas’ loss to Villanova over the weekend, it’s Gonzaga’s turn to grace the top spot. The Bulldogs, who are coming off of wins over Arizona and North Carolina over the last couple of weeks received 54 of the possible 65 first-place votes.

Louisville stayed at No. 3 for the second consecutive week. The Cardinals were jumped by Ohio State, which moved from No. 5 to No. 2 after taking down Kentucky in the CBS Sports Classic in Las Vegas. The Wildcats, who will take on U of L this Saturday, fell all the way to No. 19 after dropping games to the Buckeyes and Utah in Vegas.
