Despite last week’s lopsided loss to Clemson, Louisville now finds itself in a position where only one major sports network believes the Cardinals are going to spend the holidays watching all the bowl games from home.

Of particular interest here are the multiple projections of Louisville taking on regional rival(?) Indiana in the Quick Lane Bowl. The Cards and Hoosiers haven’t met on the gridiron since 1986 (and just twice ever), but are set to begin a three-year series in 2023.

Here’s what we’re looking at heading into game eight:

ESPN (Bonagura): Military Bowl vs. Tulane (Dec. 27)

ESPN (Schlabach): Music City Bowl vs. South Carolina (Dec. 30)

Yahoo: Quick Lane Bowl vs. Indiana (Dec. 26)

USA Today: Independence Bowl vs. North Texas (Dec. 26)

Sports Illustrated: Military Bowl vs. Navy (Dec. 27)

CBS: No Bowl

SB Nation: Quick Lane Bowl vs. Nebraska (Dec. 26)

247 Sports: Music City Bowl vs. South Carolina (Dec. 30)

College Football News: Birmingham Bowl vs. Temple (Jan. 2)

The Sporting News: Quick Lane Bowl vs. Indiana (Dec. 26)

Stadium: Sun Bowl vs. USC (Dec. 31)
