4-star class of 2020 standout D’Andre Davis commits to Louisville basketball

The Cards finally have a 2020 commit to join JuCo star Jay Scrubb.

After a bit of a rough patch on the recruiting trail over the last couple of weeks, Louisville basketball got some good news on Sunday.

D’Andre Davis, a 4-star class of 2020 prospect out of Indianapolis Lawrence Central, committed to Louisville on Sunday. Davis and his younger brother, class of 2022 recruit D’Ante Davis, both took official visits to U of L this weekend.

A 6’5, 175-pound small forward, Davis had been committed to Nebraska before decommitting a week ago. He had visits planned to Xavier and Purdue before pledging his allegiance to Chris Mack on Sunday.

Known primarily for his scoring ability, Davis averaged 16.9 ppg for Lawrence Central and 17.8 ppg for the Indy Heat AAU squad on the Nike EYBL circuit last summer.

Here’s U of L’s newest commit in action from over the summer:
