It’s not hard to make the case that Thursday night was the best environment the KFC Yum Center has seen so far in 2018-19.
Louisville’s players seemed to notice it too. As they took to social media following the Cards’ 84-77 win over NC State, many of them thanked the fans who were in the building and urged them to bring the same energy to Saturday’s revenge game against Pitt.
Aye #CardNation y’all did that! #L1C4

Whatever happens over the next couple of months, this team is in the process of establishing itself as the group that laid the foundation for whatever success may come during the Chris Mack era at Louisville. This is the origin story, and it’s been more fun than I could have ever imagined.
Let’s make sure these dudes continue to feel adequately appreciated. It’s the least we can do.
