Withers spent this weekend in town taking his official visit to U of L.
A versatile 6’8, 215-pound forward, Withers also had scholarship offers from Arizona, Florida, Texas and Virginia, among many others. He becomes the second member of Chris Mack’s first recruiting class, joining friend Josh Nickelberry.
Over the summer, Withers turned heads by being the second leading scorer at the D.C. Adidas Gauntlet event, averaging 16.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Performances lke that made him even more of a priority for Mack and the rest of the Cardinal staff.
