Chris Mack and the Louisville basketball program have spent a healthy chunk of the summer reaching out to the Cardinal fan base and engaging with them in fresh ways.
The latest example will come Saturday, when the Cardinals will hold a pickup game inside the Yum Center practice facility at 1 p.m. An open run the players have invited the fans to come and watch.
Team pickup tomorrow at the practice facility @ 1pm. Anyone is welcome to come watch if interested

With Donovan Mitchell and Trey Lewis both in town for the weekend, it’s a safe bet that we know who at least a couple of the guest appearances are going to be. That’s also not a bad combo to have in town with four-star forward Jaelyn Withers in town for his official visit.
I never got to experience the magic of watching some of the best college players in the country go at it during open pickup games inside Crawford Gym, but the stories are legendary. It’s nice to see Louisville taking a step towards bringing that magic back.
