Lamar Jackson took the field as a Baltimore Raven for the first time Thursday night, helping the squad to a 17-16 win over Chicago in the Hall of Fame Game.
Jackson didn’t play in the first half, but took every snap for the Ravens in the third and fourth quarters. He finished an up and down evening with a couple of flashy runs, a touchdown pass, and an interception.

The good thing about this performance? It was so down the middle that the national media is going to have a hard time taking an unnecessarily extreme stance on it throughout the day on Friday.
I’m sure plenty will try though.
