Thoughts: Ryan joined the Card’s last year out of Champaign Central High School up in Champaign, IL. Not sure of the kicker situation up there for Lovie, but glad to have him on board here in The Ville.

Ryan has a big leg. As with most kickers Ryan played two sports in high school (tennis and track…that’s a joke, football and soccer, you fools) and he can boom it. Check out these moon balls off his foot two years ago…

Ryan took a redshirt last year and while we all know Creque is the man of the hour at the position he only has a couple seasons left at best. I’d keep an eye on Chalifoux and Jakson Wine (Day 44) to fight it out for the kicker of the future this year to try and get a leg up (that’s a pun) on anybody they may bring in on scholarship the next couple seasons.
