Chris Mack and Jordan Nwora met with members of the media Tuesday afternoon to discuss Nwora’s summer experience with the Nigerian national team as well as the state of the 2018-19 Cardinals.
—Jordan Nwora noticed the difference his added size had made right away when he participated in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers in Africa. He was able to do things on the court he couldn’t a year ago.
—Walk-on guard Matt Hanna, whose addition to the roster was announced just five days ago, spent one full day on U of L’s campus before deciding Louisville wasn’t for him. I’ll choose to remember the good times.
—V.J. King and Ryan McMahon have stepped up early on as leaders.
—Khwan Fore isn’t the best shooter in the world, but he’s a fantastic athlete whose defense is going to be a huge asset for this team.
—Akoy Agau has only been back on campus for a week, so it’s hard to get a feel for what he’s going to bring to the table, but it’s clear that he has a fondness for U of L and the city of Louisville.
