Promotional schedule announced for Louisville’s 2018 football schedule

Louisville fans will be privy to another “Blackout” game when the Cardinals host Georgia Tech on Friday night, Oct. 5. U of L announced this and the other promotions for the football team’s 2018 home slate through a press release Tuesday morning.

Sept. 8 vs. Indiana State (100th Season Celebration)
Sept. 15 vs. Western Kentucky (Teacher Appreciation)
Oct. 5 vs. Georgia Tech (Blackout)
Oct. 27 vs. Wake Forest (Homecoming/Pink Game)
Nov. 17 vs. NC State (Military Appreciation)
Nov. 24 vs. Kentucky (Senior Day)

Louisville went with the Blackout theme last season for its primetime showdown against Clemson, but it didn’t go especially well. The fourth-ranked Tigers won the game, 47-21.
