World Cup 2026

Looks like there will be a couple of sites within decent driving distance, which is always nice. But more importantly, Pulisic will be entering his prime. Zack Steffen will be entering his prime. And all the young dudes who are getting invaluable experience now should be rounding into form by then.

The missing piece to have a truly competitive team, i.e. one that can make a semifinal run as the host, is the coach. We need a coach with vision, but also one who can communicate well with players. There is only one guy for the job: Zinedine Zidane.

USSF needs to open their checkbook and pay the man. Money talks. He got paid $10M by Qatar to jump out of an anteroom as a surprise part of their World Cup bid presentation to FIFA. So he has a price. And he definitely has the chops: 3 straight Champions League titles. He was a respected player internationally and in the States, he knows what it takes to win a World Cup, and he is now the hottest name in coaching.

Get him here now and have the patience to build for 2026.
