After falling behind 4-0, the Louisville baseball team scored eight unanswered runs to pull off an 8-4 win over Wright State Tuesday night at Jim Patterson Stadium.
Shay Smiddy worked three scoreless innings to pick up the win and move to 5-1 on the season. Smiddy relieved starter Reid Detmers, who struck out 10 but allowed four runs over six innings.
At the dish, Jake Snider and Devin Mann had two hits apiece, while Josh Stowers and Danny Oriente both drove in a pair of runs.
With the win, Louisville improved to 33-15 overall on the season. The Cards are currently 12-12 in the ACC with two weekend series still to go.
