The Louisville baseball team worked its record back to .500 in ACC play by winning two of three over host Boston College this weekend.
The Cards (32-15, 12-12) seemed poised for a sweep on Sunday, but a two-out RBI single in the home half of the 8th inning allowed the Eagles to salvage a 2-1 victory. Though the U of L offense was stymied in the defeat, the performance came on the heels of impressive 11-3 and 6-1 wins on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
Up next, Louisville returns home for a pair of midweek games at Jim Patterson Stadium. The Cardinals host Wright State on Tuesday at 6 p.m., ET, while Cincinnati will be in town for Cancer Awareness Night on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
