Jordan Nwora will return to Louisville for his sophomore season, Nwora’s father told the Courier Journal’s Jeff Greer.
As a freshman in 2017-18, Nwora averaged 5.7 ppg and shot 46.4 percent from beyond the arc despite playing just 12 minutes per game. He scored in double figures nine times, including a 17-point performance in U of L’s NIT win over Middle Tennessee.
For a significant chunk of the season, Nwora seemed as perplexed about why he was wasting away on the bench as the rest of us were. Because of that, there was some understandable speculation about where Nwora’s future might take him. Thankfully, that future will be at U of L.
