Another day, another grad transfer that Louisville had targeted off the board. This time it’s USC Upstate guard Mike Cunningham, who announced on Twitter that he’s headed to Oklahoma State.
I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity, my family, and everybody in the USC-Upstate community that has embraced me over the years. But with that being said, I’m excited to announce my commitment to Oklahoma State University. #GoPokes #LetsWork pic.twitter.com/yu1ZODZLBC

A three-year starter at Upstate, Cunningham is known primarily for his outside shooting. he buried 86 treys a year ago and shot 38.2 percent from beyond the arc. Overall, he averaged 13.7 ppg and 3.0 apg for a Spartans team that finished the season just 7-25. He had previously been scheduled to visit U of L on Wednesday.
Cunningham joins FGCU’s Zach Johnson (Miami) and Fordham’s Joseph Fourtony (Marquette) as grad transfers pursued at one time by Louisville who ultimately chose to play elsewhere. I don’t think Cunningham would have helped the Cards as much as the other two guys, but who knows.
Wake Forest grad transfer Keyshawn Woods remains available and on U of L’s radar.
UPDATE:
It appears as though Woods has picked Ohio State.
