—It’s now being reported that the New England Patriots hosted Lamar Jackson two weeks ago and came away “intrigued and impressed” with the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner.
The Patriots don’t let stuff like this get out unless they want it out, which continues to make me suspicious of their intentions with all this Lamar stuff.

—Former Louisville commit and current Louisville target David Johnson out of Trinity was one of the standout performers at adidas Gauntlet camp in Colorado Springs over the weekend.
David Johnson, CG, The Ville - He isn’t playing against the best competition on the silver side of the Gauntlet, but Johnson showed high level talent. A kid with very long arms, great size, and phenomenal floor vision, Johnson shined on night two. He led his team to a win, and did it by making everybody on the floor better. Johnson’s floor vision is fantastic, and then he nailed a few jumpers as well. After an up and down high school season, Johnson looked back to his usual dominant self on Saturday.
