Louisville will open its 2018 season agains the team college football recognizes as its 2017 national champion. In three years, the Cards will face the program that believes it deserves that title.
U of L will host Central Florida at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Sept. 18, 2021. The Cards will then face the Knights in Orlando on Sept. 17, 2022. Vince Tyra, Louisville’s interim athletic director, made the announcement on Monday.
Here’s a look at how Louisville’s future non-con schedule currently looks:

Bobby Petrino has never shied away from a challenge, and U of L certainly hasn’t been afraid to schedule the strongest Group of 5 programs.
Here’s hoping there’s not a younger Bortles who’s about to walk into the program.
