Louisville’s NIT second round game has been slotted for a 6:30 p.m. tip on Sunday at the KFC Yum Center. The U of L women will likely be playing a second round NCAA tournament game inside the building earlier in the day.
Season ticket holders in premium locations will be emailed instructions today for the right to claim their seats until noon on Thursday. Tickets located in the club sections, courtside, suites, terrace and premium boxes are $20 each for first round games. Men’s basketball season ticket holders will receive an email as well with instructions for a presale opportunity to purchase tickets beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday. All remaining seats will go on sale to the general public on Thursday at 3 p.m. Non-premium lower arena seats are $12 and student tickets are $6 each.
Middle Tennessee will be 25-7 heading into Sunday’s game. The Blue Raiders won the Conference USA regular season title but were stunned in the league tournament quarterfinals by Southern Mississippi. They also may or may not have an interim head coach leading them into the Derby City.
