Ray Spalding “day-to-day” with ankle sprain

Not great, Bob.

NCAA Basketball: Louisville at Notre Dame Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

What looked like a cramp issue for Ray Spalding was actually, via Louisville SID Kenny Klein, a right ankle sprain.

Spalding was forced to sit out the bulk of the final 10 minutes of Louisville’s 80-76 loss to Florida State.

There is only one “Big Monday” game on U of L’s 2017-18 schedule, so naturally, this is the time where arguably the Cards’ most important player has an injury like this.

Alternate hot and cold, Ray. At least that’s what my dad always said. Get better.
