Louisville earns top seed at 2018 ACC women’s tournament

Louisville’s thumping of Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon at the KFC Yum Center not only locked up the Cards’ first ACC regular season title, it also earned Jeff Walz’s team the No. 1 seed at this week’s ACC women’s tournament in Greensboro.

U of L will play its first tournament game on Friday at 2 p.m. against the winner of Thursday’s game between No. 8 seed Syracuse and No. 9 seed Virginia Tech.
