Wide Receiver Demontae Crumes commits to Louisville

The Cardinals add to their 2019 class Sunday evening after snagging a hometown receiver.

It has been quite a busy weekend for local prospect Demontae Crumes. Per Jody Demling of Cardinal Authority, Crumes was offered a scholarship to play for the Cardinals on Friday, took a visit to campus on Saturday, and decided to announce his commitment to play for Bobby Petrino and the Cardinals on Sunday.

Crumes is a composite 3-star local product (Butler Traditional). While he does rank as a 3-star recruit, his only other offer that he currently holds is from Memphis, so obviously the decision on where to play his college ball at was pretty easy. He is currently listed as standing at 6’1” and weighing in at 165 lbs.

Crumes is the third player to announce his commitment for Louisville in the 2019 class, and the first receiver to do so. He now joins Jaden Johnson (composite 4-star quarterback) and Glover Cook (3-star running back) as those currently pledging to the Cards for 2019.

Welcome to the Cardinals, Demontae!
