Deng Adel, Louisville’s leading scorer at 15.5 ppg, will miss the Cardinals’ Sunday afternoon night game against Pittsburgh because of an ankle injury. It will be the second straight game Adel has missed.
Freshman guard Darius Perry is expected to start in Adel’s place, just as he did Thursday night.

Interim head coach David Padgett said after the Georgia Tech game that Adel could and would have played if it had been a postseason game, but that he sat out as a precautionary measure. Without Adel, Louisville defeated the Yellow Jackets 77-54.
