U of L has announced that starting point guard Christen Cunningham will miss Friday night’s game against Robert Morris as he continues to undergo concussion protocol. Cunningham hit his head on the floor during practice on Thursday and has since experienced concussion-like symptoms.
A graduate transfer from Samford, Cunningham has started all 11 games for Louisville so far this season. He’s currently averaging 8.6 points and a team-leading 3.1 assists per game, and is coming off a performance against Kent State in which he scored a season-high 17 points.
Sophomore guard Darius Perry is expected to start in Cunningham’s place.
