The ACC’s media and coaches have both picked the Louisville women’s basketball to finish second in the league this season, and has made Cardinal star Asia Durr a preseason First Team all-conference selection. Both honors were announced during the ACC’s annual media day festivities on Tuesday.
Despite Durr being the ACC’s Player of the Year for the 2017-18 season, she was not the league’s pick to hang on to her award in 2018-19. That distinction went to Notre Dame’s Arike Ogunbowale, the hero of the Fighting Irish’s national championship run a year ago.

Durr finished last season averaging 18.7 points per game. She also knocked down 115 three-pointers, which ranked 13th in the country.
