Louisville receives 11 votes in preseason AP poll

The poll also reinforces how loaded the Cards’ 2018-19 schedule is.

Louisville received 11 votes in the preseason top 25 poll from the Associated Press, which was released Monday afternoon. It’s just the second time since 2010 that U of L has been unranked in a preseason AP poll.

The Cardinals have 12 scheduled games against teams in the preseason top 25, a number that could rise to 13 if they have face No. 1 Kansas in the second game of the NIT Season Tip-Off in New York. In all, seven teams from the ACC made the rankings, and 11 received at least one vote.
