It’s difficult to put into words what happened tonight. If you saw it you know what I mean. If you didn’t...then I feel sorry for you. Because this game was about as close to basketball perfection as you’re going to find this side of heaven.

In the first half alone Louisville shot 71.9% and 66.7% from the 3-point line to go into halftime up 56-28. That grew to 94-53 in the 4th quarter. It all looked so easy and effortless. The whole team was in the zone, but its two stars were on another level tonight. Asia Durr finished with 36 points (8-10 from the 3-point line) and Myisha Hines-Allen had 31 points and 12 rebounds. That’s a two-headed monster that’s hard to slay, and each player on the team played their roles to perfection to let those two players shine.
This was in no way the flashiest play of the night but it is why we’re on another level this year. This little screen and pass by Sam Fuehring...it makes me giddy. pic.twitter.com/3o2umkgi1K

After the game Myisha was asked what she thought of Asia’s performance and she said, “Asia performs like that every night. It’s a blessing to play with her. I’m happy she came to this school.” Asia said that her teammates were the secret to her success. “They always do a great job of finding me on the court” and “Coach Walz calls some great plays as well.”
Did Jeff Walz like that last Asia Durr three to close the third quarter? pic.twitter.com/0am6ivlBHi

After game Coach Walz said that it was definitely not what he expected. He said, “It was an unbelievable performance offensively...we made the extra pass.” He added that now “everybody’s looking at us thinking ‘this is who we have to beat to win the ACC.’”
