After squeaking by Purdue despite being a 25-point favorite, Louisville is being treated a but less favorably by the oddsmakers heading into week two.

The Cardinals opened as just a 5.5-point favorite at North Carolina on Saturday, a line which has since been bet up to U of L -8. The Tar Heels opened their 2017 season with a 35-30 home loss to California.

Dating back to last season, Louisville has now failed to cover the spread in five consecutive games. The last time gamblers made money off the Cards was U of L’s 52-7 road win over Boston College on Nov. 5.

Other early lines of note for week two:

Northwestern -3 at Duke

Boston College -2 over Wake Forest

Syracuse -9.5 over Middle Tennessee

Indiana -2.5 at Virginia

Penn State -20 over Pittsburgh

Western Kentucky -8 at Illinois

Miami -14 at Arkansas State

NC State -24 over Marshall

Florida State -31.5 over Louisiana-Monroe

Clemson -6 over Auburn

Ohio State -7.5 over Oklahoma

USC -6.5 over Stanford
