Thoughts: In my completely biased opinion, UofL got three absolute studs at wideout in this year's class, and all three just happen to hail from the great state of Georgia. We've briefly discussed Justin Marshall and Josh Johnson, so today we shift our focus to the very big and very physical, Corey Reed.

Corey was a target for the Cards very early in the process and they put in work on recruiting him for quite some time. Corey came to the "Light Up The Ville" camp last year and all in attendance seemed to pinpoint him as the top dog during the camp. Tabbed as a 4-star recruit by Rivals and Top 10 wideout in the state of Georgia, Reed was getting some late love from Kentucky, Miami (FL), Maryland, and West Virginia before signing with the Cards. The wrap on Reed is that he loves contact and doesn’t mind fighting for the ball. In almost every breakdown I've read Reed has been highlighted for his footwork and ability to highpoint the ball, two things that can be taught, but certainly put you ahead of the pack coming out of high school.

On the recently released depth chart Reed was sitting on the third team behind Seth Dawkins and Emonee Spence, likely a result of their talent and experience with the offense. I know the staff loves Reed, but if they feel comfortable with the guys they have outside this year a redshirt may not be out of the question. I expect to see him ready to play each week, and if he can contribute in 2017 to the Cards ultimate goal of a championship, sign me up.

Sweet Tweet: I had couple tweets lined up but realized I couldn't post them because I'm also now blocked by Coach Petrino....come on Coach, was it this post? Instead, let's check out Reed's commitment video, good stuff.

TWO. MORE. DAYS.
