In a short amount of time this summer, Jaire Alexander has established himself as perhaps the largest personality on the 2017 Louisville football team.
Everyone knew Alexander could play after his breakout sophomore season, but seeing his dancing skills and comedic timing on full display at the ACC’s media days was a different sort of treat for Cardinal fans.
Then came yesterday, when Alexander and secondary-mate Chucky Williams were made available to the media after U of L’s third practice. The duo (mostly Alexander) informed the world that the defensive backs were now referring to themselves as “The Tax Boys,” because just like the IRS, they’re always going to be showing up to get their money.
#TaxBoys @_10ville @_YoungCardinal. Also- I want to host a show with Jaire where I just ask him life questions. What say you @UofLFootball? pic.twitter.com/GIsvA4897P

I really don’t think I could love this anymore.
Put it on a shirt. Put it on money. Get ready to scream (or slur) “TAX BOYS” after the first Louisville interception this season. I’m ready for it all.
