It’s not normal for a late lottery pick to sign a shoe deal before they ever play an NBA game. After Donovan Mitchell’s recent performance in the Summer League, however, I suppose adidas felt the need to move quickly.
Adidas has signed Utah Jazz rookie guard Donovan Mitchell to a multi-year shoe deal. The 13th pick has had a strong Summer League showing.

By sticking with adidas, Mitchell joins up with NBA stars like James Harden, Kristaps Porzingis, Damian Lillard, Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid.
