The Louisville-Kentucky super regional is sold out

Congrats to all those who got their tickets early.

Before some even knew the series was taking place, tickets to this weekend’s super regional featuring Louisville and Kentucky at Jim Patterson Stadium were sold out.

U of L announced last night — before Kentucky had defeated NC State to claim the Lexington regional title — that all chairback seats for the series had already been sold out. With the matchup against the Wildcats set late last night, all general admission and berm tickets were gone before the clock hit 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

This means no walking up to Jim Patterson on game day this weekend and being able to land any sort of ticket that gets you in the gate.

For those who are fortunate enough to have already secured tickets, U of L is asking fans to purchase and pick-up tickets in advance to avoid long will call lines on game day. Tickets can be picked up at the Louisville Cardinals Ticket Office, located at Gate 2 of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. No tickets will be mailed.

Also, Kentucky sucks.
