In San Francisco, Dumervil will be joining a 49ers team that has made improving its pass rush one of its top offseason priorities. ESPN has reported that Dumervil’s deal is for two seasons.
At 33-years-old, Dumervil had three sacks for the Baltimore Ravens last season as he battled an achilles injury that limited his effectiveness. A five-time Pro Bowler, Dumervil’s next sack will be the 100th of his career.
Congrats to Elvis on this latest step in his successful career.
