The dates for the 14 games making up the annual ACC-Big 10 Challenge have been released, and Louisville’s trip to Purdue will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Here’s the full schedule for this year’s event:
Monday, Nov. 27
Maryland at Syracuse
Wisconsin at Virginia
Tuesday, Nov. 28
Northwestern at Georgia Tech
Louisville at Purdue
Florida State at Rutgers
Illinois at Wake Forest
Iowa at Virginia Tech
Wednesday, Nov. 29
Duke at Indiana
Miami at Minnesota
Boston College at Nebraska
Michigan at North Carolina
Penn State at NC State
Clemson at Ohio State
Thursday, Nov. 30
Notre Dame at Michigan State
It would appear as though Louisville-Purdue will be the “showcase” game for that Tuesday, meaning we’re likely looking at an ESPN game that would tip at 9.
Even without double-double machine Caleb Swanigan, Purdue figures to be a formidable foe this season. Matt Painter returns the other four starters from a team that made the Sweet 16 and finished No. 15 in the final AP and USA Today polls for 2016-17. Louisville defeated the Boilermakers 71-64 at the KFC Yum Center in last year’s Challenge.
