The Cardinals added to their 2018 class by landing their signal-caller for the class Saturday evening in composite 3-star Jordan Travis.

Travis is a dual-threat quarterback from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Other than Louisville, Travis currently holds offers from Appalachian State, Georgia State, Marshall, McNeese State, North Carolina, Southern Miss, UCF, and USF. He is also receiving interest from Michigan State.

Standing at 6’2” and weighing 185 pounds, Jordan Travis fits the mold of the type of quarterback that Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino has been recruiting since his return to the Cardinals. With the trend to the spread offense in the college football world, Petrino has tweaked his quarterback recruiting to find guys who can throw the ball, but can also tuck it and run. We’ve seen how dangerous his offense can be when finding this type of quarterback last year with Lamar Jackson. Jackson would go on to win the first Heisman trophy in program history.

Welcome to the Cards, Jordan!
