Former University of Louisville wide receiver Jamari Staples has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs.
He announced this Monday evening via his Instagram.
Staples spent two years with the Cardinals after he transferred to Louisville following UAB’s temporary shutdown of its football program. He followed former UAB head coach Garrick McGee to Louisville after the announcement that the Blazers would disband the program.
For his career as a Cardinal, Staples played in 20 games, catching 73 passes for 1,253 yards and 5 touchdowns. He averaged 17.2 yards per reception.
Best of luck to Jamari as he continues his playing career in the NFL.
