The Louisville baseball team finished its seventh series sweep of the season on Sunday with a 9-4 triumph over Notre Dame in South Bend. The win, Louisville's 11th straight, brought the Cardinals' overall record to 42-6 and their mark in ACC play to 20-4.
This is the first time in the history of the program that U of L has had multiple 11-game winning streaks in a single season.
Colby Fitch and Brendan McKay were the offensive stars for the Cardinals on Sunday. The duo combined for seven hits, two home runs, six RBI and five runs scored. Louisville fell into a 4-1 hole early on, but wound up scoring the game's final eight runs.
With just two weeks to go in the 2017 regular season, here's how things look in the ACC:

Louisville wraps up the regular season with the two biggest conference series on its schedule. The Cards will head to Clemson this coming weekend and then will host Florida State for the final three games before the conference tournament.
Before any of that goes down, however, there's this Tuesday night't Battle of the Barrel rivalry game against Vanderbilt. First pitch at Jim Patterson is slotted for 6 p.m.
