Jeff Walz and the Louisville women’s basketball team got some great news on the recruiting front Friday afternoon.
5-star PG Mykasa Robinson pulled the trigger and committed to play for the Cardinals.
Mykasa decided to announce her decision to coach Walz at the GNBA Spring Invitational at the Kentucky Expo Center.
Robinson was a one-time commit to Colorado, where her older sister, sophomore Alexis Robinson, plays. Mykasa is currently listed as a 5-star recruit, and the 13th overall player in the class of 2018, according to ESPN. She had been considering other programs such as Kentucky, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech, but ultimately made the right choice to play for Walz.
Robinson is the second verbal commitment in the class of 2018. She’ll join Seygan Robins, who is another guard that will make her way to Louisville from Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Robins currently has a 4-star ranking, and is the #41 overall recruit in the 2018 class.
Welcome to the Cards, Mykasa!
