Courtney Ramey, a five-star guard out of Webster Groves, MO, has become the second member of the class of 2018 to commit to Louisville.
A 6’4, 170-pound true point guard, Ramey has offers from a long list of high-profile Division-I programs, but had recently narrowed his list or prospective schools to 13. With about a month left to play, Ramey is currently averaging 20.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game in his junior season. Webster Groves is 14-2 and heading into a Friday night showdown with Chicago power Morgan Park, the same high school that produced Wayne Blackshear (and Dean Portman from D-II The Mighty Ducks).
Here’s Ramey in action:
Ramey joins four-star combo guard Anfernee Simons from Orlando as members of the 2018 class who have committed to play their college ball for Rick Pitino. Simons is the No. 45 overall player in the class according to Scout. Ramey is No. 19.
Good things are happening here, people.
