North Carolina is currently listed as a 6-point betting favorite for tonight's showdown with Louisville. The Tar Heels opened yesterday as 5.5-point favorites.
Assuming the spread holds, this will be the sixth time this season that U of L has gone into a game as an underdog. The Cards are 2-3 in those games, with wins over Wichita State and Kentucky, and losses to Notre Dame, Florida State and Virginia.
Louisville's most lopsided underdog spread of the season came when they were pegged by Vegas to lose at Virginia by seven points. The Cardinals were playing without the services of four scholarship players that night.
Assuming the line holds, the 6-point spread will be the second-largest against U of L this season.
