Louisville got career highs from Ray Spalding in both points (21) and rebonds (16) as the Cards took care of business against Grand Canyon Saturday afternoon, 74-56. The game marked the final non-conference home tilt for U of L in the 2017-18 season.
The final game of a three-game series between the Cardinals and Antelopes was a back and forth affair for most of the afternoon. Louisville used a 21-3 run over an 8-minute stretch in the second half to pull away and score its 10th victory of the season.
In addition to Spalding’s big afternoon, the Cards got double-digit scoring performances from Deng Adel (14) and Quentin Snider (12).
