The first day of the first early signing period in college football was extremely kind to Louisville, which received singed letters of intent from 20 player in the recruiting class of 2018.
This group is comprised of players from just five different states and features 12 defensive players, seven on offense, and one athlete. As it stands currently, the class is the 17th-best in the country according to the recruiting analysts over at ESPN.
Here are the 20 players who officially became Louisville Cardinals on Wednesday:

The early signing period ends on Friday, and the traditional National Signing Day will take place on Feb. 7. A lot of things can happen between now and then, but there’s a very real chance that this will wind up being the highest-rated recruiting class in the history of Louisville football.
