Some good news from the world of professional, where the world’s greatest human being, Teddy Bridgewater, has been activated by the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings on Wednesday officially activated Teddy Bridgewater to the 53-man roster and placed Sam Bradford on injured reserve.

The activation of Bridgewater is a major milestone for the recovery process of the fourth-year quarterback.

Bridgewater suffered a dislocated knee and torn ACL on Aug. 30, 2016. The injury forced him to miss all of his third pro season and prevented him from building on his first Pro Bowl campaign in which he led the Vikings to an 11-5 mark, completed 65.3 percent of his passes and threw for 3,231 yards and 14 touchdowns against nine interceptions.

If he’s able, here’s hoping we see Teddy back on the field tearing stuff up right away. If he wants to take off the Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions, I’m cool with that too.

Congrats to Teddy on getting back to this point when there were those who thought he never would.
