For the second straight season, the Louisville men’s soccer team is the No. 4 overall seed for the NCAA tournament.
U of L has a bye for the first round of the tournament. The Cardinals will host either San Francisco or California in a second round match on Nov. 19.

Louisville enters the NCAA tournament with an overall record of 11-2-4. Most recently, the Cards fell to Virginia on penalty kicks in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament.
A year ago, the fourth-seeded Cardinals knocked off UCLA and Notre Dame before falling to eventual national champion Stanford in the Elite Eight.
