Louisville at Florida State set for noon kickoff

Not quite the primetime slot we thought we might see at the start of the season.

NCAA Football: Florida State at Louisville Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Two months ago, Louisville’s Oct. 21 road game against Florida State seemed destined for a primetime kick on a major network. Instead, with both teams currently unranked, the contest has been set for a noon kickoff that will be carried on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC.

Such is life.

Here are the ACC kick times and television assignments for two weekends from now:

Louisville at Florida State, noon, ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 – network designation after the games of Oct. 14

Pittsburgh at Duke, 12:20 p.m., ACC Network

Boston College at Virginia, 12:30 p.m., RSN

Syracuse at Miami, 3:30 p.m., ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 – network designation after the games of Oct. 14

North Carolina at Virginia Tech, 3:30 p.m., ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 – network designation after the games of Oct. 14

Wake Forest at Georgia Tech, 7 p.m., ESPN2 or 7:30 p.m., ESPNU – time designation after the games of Oct. 14
