Louisville’s Sunday afternoon game against the Wolfpack of N.C. State was announced to be the annual “White Out” game for the Cardinals. However, it looks like that one of the trademarks of the game might not be there this year:
"I forgot it was a 'White Out,' and this is no BS, I left that suit in Miami," Pitino said. "I wore it – I was doing a Tony Montana impersonation down there. I got paid for it. It is down in Miami. I will wear white, but it won't be a white suit. I'll have a white shirt on."
Come on, Rick, you “forgot”? If so, I’m sure there’s a way you could get that suit up here in time for the game. Even though Pitino says he’ll be wearing white, it just won’t be the same.
U of L’s game against the Wolfpack matches the Cards up against N.C. State’s Dennis Smith Jr., who is averaging 19.5 PPG and 6.5 APG. Smith is regarded as a top-5 pick, according to Draft Express. It’ll be a tough match-up for the Cards as they are currently down both Quentin Snider (strained hip flexor) and Tony Hicks (broken hand).
I fully expect Pitino to be wearing that suit tomorrow.
