The Louisville women will host Maryland in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge on Dec. 1, renewing the Jeff Walz/Brenda Frese rivalry.
Louisville sophomore shortstop Devin Hairston has earned and accepted an invitation to compete for a roster spot on the 2016 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. He'll team up with Brendan McKay on that squad.
Speaking of Hairston, his walk-off against Kentucky kicks off the top five plays of the 2016 ACC baseball season.
Charles Baldwin, the No. 3 JuCo player in the country and a former 5-star OL recruit, is on U of L's campus today.
