Contrary to Rothstein's tweet, this is actually the second game of a three-game contract between the two programs. Grand Canyon will make a return visit to the KFC Yum Center in 2017.
The Antelopes, who are still transitioning to Division-I and are thus ineligible for postseason play, posted a 27-7 overall record in 2015-16, including an 11-3 mark in WAC play. Dan Majerle's team was pummeled by Louisville, 111-63 on Dec. 5, easily the team's most lopsided defeat of the season.
