Malik Williams, the four-star power forward who Rick Pitino made his primary target in the 2017 recruiting class, has officially signed his letter of intent to play for Louisville next season.
I used to pray for times like this! It's official I will be attending the University of Louisville next year #L1C4 ✍ ️ pic.twitter.com/enwoh5Rt8t

Williams is the perfect example of the "pick-and-pop" power forward who can knock down the outside shot that Pitino has spent a solid chunk of the offseason saying he wants to bring to U of L. The Fort Wayne native is currently rated as the No. 21 overall player in the 2017 class by Scout.com.
The other three members of Louisville's 2017 class -- Darius Perry, Jordan Nwora and Lance Thomas -- are all expected to sign their letters of intent before the end of the week. Nwora is expected to sign during a ceremony at his school Friday afternoon.
